This policy applies to all purchases made on theprofessionalworld.com. It is designed to comply with Google Merchant Center requirements and applicable Indian consumer protection regulations. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

  PART 1 — SHIPPING & DELIVERY

1.  Order Processing

    Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after successful payment confirmation.

    Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

    A confirmation email / SMS with tracking details will be sent once your order is dispatched.

2.  Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are calculated from the date of dispatch, not from the date of order placement.

3.  Shipping Charges

    Prepaid / Online Payment (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, Wallets): Free shipping on all orders.

    Cash on Delivery (COD): A flat shipping fee of ₹50 is charged per order.

    The applicable shipping charge will be clearly displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.

4.  Delivery Areas

    We deliver pan-India through trusted courier partners.

    Remote or restricted areas may experience longer delivery times than the standard estimate.

    International shipping availability and applicable charges are listed separately at checkout.

5.  Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS. You can also track your order by logging into your account at theprofessionalworld.com and navigating to My Orders → Track Order.

If there is no tracking update for more than 3 business days after dispatch, please contact us at enquiry@theprofessionalworld.com.

6.  Delayed or Failed Deliveries

    If your order shows no tracking movement for over 3 business days, contact us immediately.

    Failed deliveries due to an incorrect address or missed delivery attempts may require re-shipment at an additional charge.

    We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, or events beyond our control.

7.  Damaged or Wrong Items

We accept returns and process refunds ONLY for orders where the item received is damaged or wrong (different from what was ordered).

 

Please inform us within 24 hours of delivery at enquiry@theprofessionalworld.com with your Order ID, and clear photographs AND a video of the package and product.

 

We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund as per our return policy. Claims reported after 24 hours will not be eligible.

 

  PART 2 — RETURNS & REFUNDS

8.  Return Policy Overview

We do not accept returns for change of mind, size issues, or any reason other than receiving a damaged or wrong item. All other sales are final.

 

Returns and refunds are accepted ONLY in the following two situations:

  1.  You received a damaged item.

  2.  You received a wrong item (different from what you ordered).

 

In both cases, the claim must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with supporting photographs and video.

9.  How to Raise a Claim — Damaged or Wrong Item

If you received a damaged or wrong item, follow these steps within 24 hours of delivery:

1.  Email us at enquiry@theprofessionalworld.com or call +91-9315743367.

2.  Include your Order ID, and attach clear photographs AND a video clearly showing the damaged or wrong item along with its packaging.

3.  Our Customer Delight team will review your claim and respond at the earliest.

4.  Upon approval, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer and subject to availability.

Important: Claims reported after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted. No exceptions.

10.  Refunds

10.1  Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued only in the following situations:

    Damaged item received — replacement not available or not desired.

    Wrong item received — replacement not available or not desired.

    Order marked as delivered but not received (reported within 72 hours of the stated delivery date).

    Order cancelled within the permissible window (see Section 13).

10.2  Refund Process

Once your claim is reviewed and approved:

5.  We will notify you by email confirming approval or rejection of your refund.

6.  Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.

7.  For Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer. Please share your bank details when raising the claim.

10.3  Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 7 working days of approval:

    Check your bank account or credit card statement.

    Contact your bank or card issuer — processing delays on their end are common.

    If you have still not received the refund after both steps, email us at enquiry@theprofessionalworld.com.

11.  Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund in the event of a valid claim (damaged or wrong item received). Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

12.  Exchanges

We replace items only where the product received was damaged or wrong. To request an exchange instead of a refund, follow the steps in Section 9 and indicate your preference for a replacement. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

13.  Order Cancellation

13.1  Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order within 3 hours of placing it. To cancel, contact us at enquiry@theprofessionalworld.com or call +91-9315743367. A full refund will be processed as per Section 10.2.

13.2  After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. If you no longer wish to receive the order, you may refuse the parcel at the time of delivery. Please note that once a parcel is delivered and accepted, it cannot be returned.

14.  Order Marked Delivered but Not Received

If your order is marked as delivered but you have not received it, contact us within 72 hours of the stated delivery date.

15.  Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstance:

    Items returned for reasons other than damage or wrong shipment (e.g. change of mind, size, colour preference).

    Products that have been used, washed, or altered after delivery.

    Items without original packaging or tags.

    Perishable goods or consumables.

    Digital products or downloadable content.

    Personalized or custom-made items.

    Sale items (unless received damaged or wrong).

    Items reported outside the 24-hour claim window.
